Dear Cottonwood Families,
It is hard to believe that December is already upon us, and we are nearing the start of 2025.
I'm thrilled to share some exciting news with our school community: Cottonwood is one of 81 schools statewide to be recognized for Academic Achievement for the 2022-23 school year. This significant milestone reflects our teachers' unwavering dedication and students' hard work. It's a testament to the strong partnership between our staff, students, and families, and I could not be prouder of what we have achieved together. This recognition is not just a school's achievement but a shared success we can all be proud of.
We will assess students' reading and math growth in January with our mid-year STAR testing. We are excited to see our students' growth thus far this year.
In January we will focus on our character traits of Empathy and Perseverance, and we encourage you to join us in reinforcing these values at home.
